Join Weston author Malcolm Bell to hear him discuss his book The Attica Turkey Shoot: Carnage, Cover-Up, and the Pursuit of Justice, about the 1971 slaughter at the Attica Correctional Facility, the police and prosecutorial cover-up that followed, and the efforts to secure a justice that New York state desperately opposed. Malcolm will argue that this historic tragedy illuminates current issues such as police and prosecutorial misconduct, racism, and the justice of the privileged versus the justice of the rest.
