The library has been bustling these last couple of weeks as volunteers stream in and out to help us unpack and set up, neighbors poke their heads in to say hi, and Carrie Chalmers, Luke Bonang and their teams build us a stunning outdoor space. All this work is wrapping up and we will be reopening on Tuesday, July 14th! We are eager to throw open the doors, hang the open flag, and welcome you all in to your community library.
For the first few weeks there may be a box or two on the floor, some items still on order, and folding tables and chairs while we wait for our furniture, but the books are on the shelves and we can’t wait to see you! We are planning a grand opening celebration for the full community in August – stay tuned for the details.
This week, we will continue to unpack and set up. We may have last minute volunteer shifts open up later in the week, or even in coming weeks as more furniture and supplies arrive. If you haven’t volunteered with us yet and would like to be added to a volunteer list, please email Faye at director@wildermemoriallibrary.org. We will send out emails to the volunteer list directly as needs arise. Thank you to everyone who has helped us unpack, set up, and schlep carboard boxes. We’re forever grateful!
Do you have questions or ideas? Reach out to Faye at director@wildermemoriallibrary.org or call us at 802-379-3615.
