Over 200 people celebrated the library’s grand opening with us! Volunteers who helped set up, clean up, give tours, and hand out cookies. The Vermont Country Store provided a tent and tables for the event, and donated lawn games for the library to keep for future fun events. The Weston Volunteer Fire Department managed traffic and kept everyone safe while attending the event. Gladys’ Kitchen at the Hub, The Green Cat, Grandma Millers, all Meghan Brosseau Skutak donated delicious sweet treats. So many others helped out, made photos, dropped off supplies, and more. We are grateful for it all. Thank you!
Thank you to Hubert Schriebl for making and sharing these photos of the Grand Opening.
So many people made our move possible! Over 50 people helped us pack, move, unpack, and get set up. The Vermont Country Store lent us tables while we waited for our new furniture. The Weston Volunteer Fire Department helped us set up smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Thank you to all!

End of Summer Drop-In Activity Days
for kids of all ages
Join us at the library for something new: drop-in activities! In these final days before school starts, come grab a snack and settle in to a self-directed activity. We will have materials related to the theme of the day out on tables for you to explore!
Important note for grownups: While these activities are self-directed, we ask that grownups stay at the library with younger children. If you would like to leave an older child unsupervised, please check in with the librarian first.
Activity: Arts & Crafts
Dates: Tuesdays, August 18th and 25th
Time: 10:30-1:00
