Downloadable Digital Books & Audiobooks

All registered Wilder Memorial Library patrons have access to any eBook or Audiobook currently in the Green Mountain Library Consortium’s (GMLC) OverDrive collection. Patrons are able to load eBooks and Audiobooks onto personal computers, smartphones, tablets and eReader devices, using their library card and the LUV website.

As of January 2023 – There have been some recent changes to GMLC and the login information for security purposes.

Wilder Memorial Library provides patrons with free access to thousands of downloadable books via Overdrive/Libby

Overdrive offers patrons unlimited access to digital books, and audiobooks

For mobile devices, we recommend the free Libby as the easiest way to get started 

For laptops, the Overdrive website is easy to use

Overdrive/Libby has an extensive collection of content, but you might find that some titles are already checked out by other patrons — that’s OK, just place a hold

 You’ll need your library card number (aka patron number) and new PIN / Password to sign in …
send us an e-mail if you don’t have your number handy!

Here’s how to use this service-

If you are new to Overdrive or Libby, please contact us to let us know you want to register so we can add you to the system and give you your new PIN / Password!

If you are already registered, feel free to reach out to us so we can give you your new PIN / Password!

1. Go here to login.

2. Scroll to the Wilder Memorial Library link and then enter the number found on the back of your library card without spaces.

3. Enter your new PIN / Password number, (Please contact us at Wilder Memorial Library for your password if you do not have it.)

4. Checkout books or put on hold and enjoy!
